I'm looking to buy a Pontoon Jon Boat (those ABS Plastic ones) but my pickup bed is only 41" wide (it's a step side so wheel wells do not exist). Most of the boats I've been looking at are 42"+ wide so they most likely will not fit flat down. I do not want to buy a trailer as not many ponds have parking lots around here.
Does anyone know if I could put it in crooked (propped up on the side of the truck a little) and still secure it safely?
I have a few people offering to sell me boats and this is the only issue that is bothering me, thanks for any and all help
