My husband started a new job 2 months ago.He has to work 1 weekend a month for a few hrs each day,making a few hundred extra.I'm going for surgery next week-I understand he just started the job-but wanted him there.He said not a good idea.But this sat. he's supposed to work. He came home 2nite to tell me he's not going to work Sat.-he wants to take the boat out one last time.Didn't even disguss it. Am I wrong to feel that I'm not important in his life?Cause I gotta tell you it sure starting to feel that way.
I should tell you we had plans to go boating Sat-b4 we knew it was his weekend to work.But now I don't want to be in a vehicle for the 2 hr trip there or back. And I'm certainly not wanting to spend the day on the boat with him .(It's a pontoon boat).How would you feel?
ya'll don't seem to understand that this would only be his 2nd week-end to work. And he gets paid xtra for that.If it's not a good idea to take a day off from a new job-y is it okay to take the xtra -tax free money day off? Shouldn't being with ur wife during surgery be more important than going boating?We've been married 17 yrs -by the way.
