I needc to modify a saltwater fishing pole by adding a “wrapped” handle for better support.?

The saltwater fishing pole I just bought has a round handle (as do most) and I have seen poles on fishing charter boats that had a modified handle just above the reel for a better grip. Where can I get this done?
