I compare the new Playstation 3 Console with the Slim 60 GB version. Regarding the speed I can detect no difference, although I have the feeling that the slim little faster loading. Can also be a subjective feeling, because I have not been tested.
The optics I find very good, at first I was very skeptical, because the piano at a very elegant look, but there need to hide the Slim in any case. As was often mentioned are now seen not as fast fingerprints and dust. The processing does not look the least from cheap.
Now to the very controversial issue of volume.

Hello, I bought Playstation 3 Console Slim two weeks ago at Saturn, and so far am very happy with it.
Some people do report in Reviews negative that the Playstation 3 Console Slim is very loud and annoying noises operation, that load times significantly longer and more so jerk Games
This I can not confirm absolutely, even after an hour of GTA 4, the fan is whisper quiet.
The load times and Games performence are exactly like the 80GB model.
The Blue-ray drive is on the disc-and-one-out task, and when reading something aloud, but then runs very quietly.
Single mango, the Internet browser of the Playstation 3 Console is still so schei ... like its predecessors.
