In WA State, you can have in your possession up to 24 ounces for personal use with a "green card," (a note from your doctor.) However, some time back (20 years maybe) I had a friend who's fishing boat got procured by the coast guard under the zero-tolerance policy. They found a single seed in a mop! Took his boat.
I'm wondering if anyone knows what the current policy is?
Richard, what about Obama's decree to the feds to put it at a low priority? Do the Coasties subscribe to that?
Oh, and Lost? It was a fishing boat off the Columbia River, and it was one of his crew. It was 20+ years ago so the laws were much more strict then.
Ice, originally the law was written to say "a 90 day supply for personal use." Then they decided to define what a 90 day supply was. I was amazed. You can have 24 ounces AND 15 plants of ANY SIZE. I'm serious. It's RCW 69.51a.
I'm the first to admit that's a lot.
Correction, 60 day supply. WAC 246-75-010
