Where can i take my wife fishing in Louisiana?

My wife is from germany and i am from Louisiana. My wife wants to go fishing so bad but i do not know where can take her. we have fishing poles and other gear but we do not have a boat. fishing charters are so expensive and can not afford it. can help please
